Hi, I’m Kirsten

After 20 years in Auckland, my family and I have recently relocated to Queenstown, both for a better lifestyle and to support our girls as they pursue their dream of becoming professional downhill mountain bikers.

As a photographer, my favourite things to photograph are people in love, people doing what they love, and people surrounded by the people they love. After 10 years I'm still just as passionate about it as I was when I started.

Whether you’re visiting Queenstown or you already call it home, I’d love to hear your story. I can help you plan a shoot, from choosing the right location to the best time of day to shoot. I can also recommend other local vendors if needed.

A few things about me. I won my first downhill mountain bike race at 48, which I'm still very proud of. I don't drink coffee but I do love tequila. I met my husband in 1995 and we finally got married in Bali in 2017, so I've had a lot of time to think about what makes a great wedding. Oh, and my favourite colour is pink.

Since relocating to Queenstown, I've already had the privilege of photographing some elopements, some weddings, many family celebrations and a very memorable surprise proposal, all in some truly incredible locations.
